On 30 September 2026, the CAREC Business Forum was held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, within the framework of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program.

The event was attended by Anvarov Nasimjon Naimovich, First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan. During the Forum, he provided information on the activities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, its role in developing trade and economic relations, and supporting entrepreneurship. 

At the same time, the participants of the Forum were presented with the economic and investment potential of the Republic of Tajikistan, priority areas for the development of the national economy, as well as opportunities for cooperation with the business community of Tajikistan.

The Forum addressed issues related to the development of regional trade and economic cooperation, strengthening business ties, development of multimodal transport and logistics corridors, expansion of cross-border trade and investment, as well as the development of sustainable “green” energy.

Furthermore, within the framework of the Forum, a Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the Union of Chambers of Commerce of the CAREC countries was signed. The establishment of the Union is expected to contribute to strengthening cooperation among chambers of commerce and expanding trade and economic relations among CAREC member countries.

On 1 October 2026, as part of the event, a meeting of the founding members of the Union of Chambers of Commerce of the CAREC countries was held. The meeting discussed the current state of multilateral cooperation and the process of implementing the signed document.
