On 2 October 2026, within the framework of the International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM”, a meeting of the Council of Heads of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Member States was held in Minsk, Republic of Belarus.

The meeting brought together heads and representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the CIS Member States, who discussed key issues related to the development of inter-chamber cooperation and the expansion of trade and economic relations among the CIS countries.

The Republic of Tajikistan was represented at the meeting by Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, Rajabzoda Haydar Usmon, who participated in the meeting and delivered a speech.

During the meeting, the participants discussed ways to expand inter-chamber cooperation and facilitate the participation of companies and enterprises from CIS countries in international exhibitions held in the CIS Member States. They also exchanged experience and discussed prospects for the use of electronic systems for confirming the origin of goods in the CIS countries, as well as other important issues related to the development of trade and economic cooperation among the CIS Member States.

Following the meeting, the heads of the Chambers agreed to further implement the outlined plans through the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the CIS Member States. These efforts will contribute to strengthening inter-chamber cooperation, expanding business ties, and further developing trade and economic cooperation within the Commonwealth.
