On 9 October 2026, the Exhibition of National Achievements of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Member States and the Islamic Republic of Iran was held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone in Turkmenistan. The exhibition took place during the working visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, to attend the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS. Participants from the CIS countries and the Islamic Republic of Iran set up national pavilions to showcase their countries’ achievements.
The national pavilion of the Republic of Tajikistan was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, covering an area of 39 square metres. It featured a modern design incorporating elements of traditional Tajik art and ornamentation. The pavilion showcased the country’s economic and trade potential in priority sectors, as well as domestic products from various industries, including mechanical engineering, mining and mineral extraction, food products and soft drinks, processed goods, dried fruits and honey, textiles, energy, digital and green technologies, traditional handicrafts, and national literature.
In addition, an LED screen was installed in the centre of Tajikistan’s national pavilion, displaying engaging videos highlighting environmental protection, Tajikistan’s scenic natural landscapes, energy potential, tourism, agriculture, and the country’s digital technologies.
The exhibition aimed to strengthen relations, promote innovation, and foster cultural and humanitarian cooperation among the CIS Member States, while showcasing their economic and trade potential.
Representatives of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Turkmenistan also established national pavilions at the exhibition, presenting their countries’ goods, products, and national potential.
